Clinicanz is New Zealand’s only Site Management Organisation (SMO) and was founded by Dr. Shaun Holt who has experience with over 100 clinical research studies.

RECRUITMENT
This is the hardest part of trials, accounting for around 30% of the work. Our GPs are able to easily recruit patients that they know from their electronic databases. GP's are also cheaper investigators compared to specialists and key opinion leaders, and often more motivated. Our role is to organize the studies, training, ethics, other regulatory matters and budgets for the investigators, so they just need to recruit the patients and see them.

SIMPLIFYING THE PROCESS
From the CRO or sponsors point of view, you will be dealing contractually with only just one organization, Clinicanz, which will take responsibility for all the sites including the recruitment of patients and GCP quality.

SERVICES FOR NATURAL PRODUCT COMPANIES
Clinicanz are also providing a service for natural products companies who want to obtain clinical data on their products. It does not matter if you do not understand how the clinical trials process works, we will do everything that is required, including writing the protocol, undertaking the study, analysing the data and publishing the results in a medical journal.

  • Ex-member of the Wellington Ethics Committee

Shaun is a medical advisor to the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation of New Zealand, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand.

 

      

 

 

With over 25 GCP-trained investigators and a 300,000 primary care patient database, Clinicanz is an ideal research partner for Phase 3, Phase 4 and natural health clinical trials.

OUR GP'S
have detailed electronic databases of their patients, and all those in their practice if there are multiple partners, making recruitment easy.
